Your path to a Master's degree in Controlling and Finance

Guiding themes

The Master's program in Controlling and Finance consists of four semesters. Each semester has a theme that guides the course of study.

  • 1st semester: Promoting excellence
    Specialization and deepening of knowledge in the areas of controlling and finance

  • 2nd semester: Leadership and implementation
    Holistic management of strategy implementation
    Modern leadership and data analysis
     
  • 3rd semester: Business models and practical projects
    Corporate development in an international context
    Application of knowledge in practical projects
     
  • 4th semester: Connection between theory and practice
    Application of skills and implementation of knowledge in the master's thesis

Structure of the program

The first three semesters are comprised of modules, in which key qualifications are taught as core competencies. In addition, the students also take an elective in which they acquire special skills.

In the fourth semester, students write their Master's theses. It is desirable that the master thesis is written in cooperation with companies. With the successful completion of the course, graduates acquire the academic degree "Master of Arts".

The core competences include the major specialization "Controlling and Finance" and one minor specialization: "Financial Control". Both are obligatory.
