How to apply

The International Management degree program begins in the winter semester and the summer semester.

Application deadline

  • Winter semester: July 15 for domestic applicants, June 15 for international applicants
  • Summer semester: January 15 for domestic applicants, December 15 for international applicants
  • Applicants with foreign university entry qualifications need to apply through Uni-Assist

General information for international applicants

Admission requirements

  1. General university entry qualification
    Your secondary school diploma or university degree must be recognized as entitling you for admission to a Bachelor program. Make sure that you meet the requirements for recognition. To do so, you can make use of information provided by the German Academic Exchange Service or the Anabin database of the Central Office for Foreign Education (Zentralstelle für ausl?ndisches Bildungswesen).
     
  2. Proof of English language skills appropriate to the level of academic aptitude is required if English is not your native language. Academic aptitude in English can be demonstrated by a B2 level of English language proficiency, as demonstrated on your general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur). Alternatively, language proficiency can be demonstrated by the original certificate or a certified copy of one of the following tests. The test results must have achieved at least the specified scores or grades. These test results must be no more than three years old at the start of the program.

    • Cambridge IGCSE: IGCSE 1st Language with average B2; IGCSE 2nd Language with average B2
       
    A bilingual high school diploma with English as the language of instruction is also recognized as proof of eligibility. Completed vocational training (technical college) as a foreign language correspondent or foreign language assistant in English is also recognized as proof of eligibility to study in English. This training also replaces the preparatory internship.
     
  3. Basic knowledge of the German language is required from international applicants (minimum level: A1; recommended level: A2).
