Admission requirements

For admission to the Master's program Land Use Transformation, applicants must meet the following requirements:

 

Selection Process

If there are more applicants who meet the admission requirements than there are places available, a selection committee allocates the available study places according to a ranking list.

Ranking points are awarded for:

  • the final grade of the Bachelor’s (or comparable) degree (max. 85 points)
  • relevant work experience (max. 6 points),
  • work or study experience abroad (max. 6 points),
  • higher levels of English proficiency (max. 2 points) and/or
  • merit-based scholarships (max. 1 point).

Application Period and Process

There are two application periods for the Master Land Use Transformation at Osnabrück University of Applied Science.

When and where you apply depends on where your Bachelor's degree documents were issued.

Applications for Summer Semester 2026:

  • Applicants with foreign degree documents* apply via uniassist: September 1st to December 15th, 2025
  • Applicants with German degree documents apply directly: September 1st, 2025 to January 15th, 2026

Applications for Winter Semester 2026/27:

  • Applicants with foreign degree documents* apply via uniassist: March 1st to June 15th, 2026
  • Applicants with German degree documents apply directly: March 1st to July 15th, 2026
     

*If you are an applicant with foreign documents who has previously applied to Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences via uniassist, you may be able to apply directly. Please contact us to discuss your individual case.
