Procurement and award
The aim of public procurement is to use budget resources sparingly and economically and to award contracts in a transparent and non-discriminatory competitive process. In order to guarantee these and other objectives (e.g. environmental protection), a large number of procurement regulations have been created at national and international level.
The procurement staff and the "Restructuring Procurement" project are responsible for implementing the above-mentioned requirements and optimising procurement processes at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. In addition, they are responsible for carrying out tenders and provide information, advice and support on all issues relating to procurement and aspects of procurement law.
