The development and application of modern materials is the basis for new technologies in all areas of industry. The degree program Applied Materials Sciences trains specialists who occupy leading positions in industry and research institutes and initiate, lead, and handle projects in the field of materials science. It offers students scientifically grounded, interdisciplinary, practice-oriented training in all branches of modern materials science. Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences promotes close cooperation with regional and internationally active companies that develop, process, and apply materials. These contacts, combined with the expertise of the instructors, guarantee a study program that is oriented towards highly topical issues in materials science and meets industrial requirements.
